The Law of Unintended Consequences, Part 2

I might make this a regular feature.

Energy Guzzled by Al Gore’s Home in Past Year Could Power 232 U.S. Homes for a Month

Gore’s personal electricity consumption up 10%, despite “energy-efficient” home renovations
His mouthpieces are claiming that the increase is in “green” electricity so the carbon nets zero.
In his defense (did I just say that?), Gore’s house is halfway between my brother’s house and my parents’ house. I have never seen so much construction activity on a residential project. That has to account for some of this usage…but not 231 extra houses worth.
