Of particular interest are some of the comments:
The crime committed was that a person with no legitimate connection to Indian culture - a fraud - was charging people to hear her lies. While it’s unfortunate that the Indian people who disrupted the event were arrested, I suspect it’s because the fraud and her staff refused to listen to them until they had to. The Indian people had a right to disrupt the event. The cops may have been following white laws, but they broke Indian laws, as did the fraud who was allowed to proceed. Sort of like the Nazis marching in Skokie… But if the Nazis had worn yarmulkes and carried a fake Torah and charged people for circumcision ceremonies. And then if the Jews who protested were arrested.
The only crime committed in Weymouth on April 4th was the Whirling Rainbow gathering. It’s a shame that gigantic “Grandmother Drum” wasn’t set on fire. White Eagle Medicine Woman is no more a spiritual leader than my cat is.
Whirling Rainbow Gathering and their “Leader” is another example of Cultural Theft and Fraud of our Native Culture, that is the crime that happened on April 4th. Native People around Turtle Island needs to speak out about these frauds
